Every amateur radio operator has their very own set of designated call letters. To an amateur operator their call sign is just as important as his or her name. Every transmission, contact, or identification of any type must include these call letters.

That's: Kilo Charlie Zero Juliett Kilo X-ray

Upon receiving our call signs from the FCC database via the internet we immediately committed them to memory. Our cars' license plates are inscribed with our call signs. This has proven to invite new contacts as well as old.
